Chelsea Schutter (she/her) is a licensed mental health practitioner providing individual and group therapy services for adults. In addition, she is available for consultation services and trainings to community organizations looking to support their staff's mental health needs.

In addition to providing treatment for a variety of general mental health concerns, Chelsea is specialized in  LGBTQIA+ issues, law enforcement and/or first responder populations, and work burnout. She has extensive training and experience in forensic mental health needs, including working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, providing assistance to those sentenced to community correction settings as well as incarcerated individuals, and supporting the staff that work in correctional, law enforcement, and first responder fields. 

Chelsea earned her Masters degree at Towson University near Baltimore, Maryland. She has been licensed in Nebraska since 2015. She is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) as well as Mental Health First Aid. She has provided trainings on topics such as victim response, suicide, maintaining professional boundaries, and resiliency. She has helped consult on LGBTQIA+ considerations in correctional practices. She is also a board member of Norfolk Area Pride. In addition to seeing clients, Chelsea teaches as an adjunct instructor for the Psychology Department at Northeast Community College. 

Prior to going into private practice, Chelsea worked in a variety of settings including: non-profits, governmental agencies, research settings, crisis response organizations, and educational institutions.
